What Zoveoo collects when you shop with us, why we hold it, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who is responsible for your data
Zoveoo is operated by Zoveoo Retail Private Limited, registered at Plot 12, Okhla Industrial Estate Phase III, New Delhi 110020 (U52100DL2026PTC000000). We decide how the data described here is handled, and we are responsible for it.
Questions about your data go to privacy@zoveoo.com.
What we collect
We collect only what placing and delivering an order actually needs:
- Your mobile number, used to sign you in with a one-time password.
- Your name and email address, asked for once when you complete your profile.
- Delivery addresses you save, including the contact phone number on each one.
- If you sign in with Google: the email address, name and account identifier on that Google account.
- Your orders, what was in them, what you were charged, and their delivery status.
- Returns you raise and the reason you give.
What we do not collect
We do not take or store card, UPI or bank details, because cash on delivery is currently the only payment method.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
Why we hold it
Your phone number identifies your account and signs you in. Your name, email and addresses are used to deliver orders and to tell you what is happening with them. Order history is kept so you can see past orders, download invoices and raise returns.
A copy of the delivery address and the prices as they stood at the moment of purchase is stored on the order itself. That snapshot is deliberate: it is what your invoice has to show later, and editing an address or a price afterwards must not rewrite an order you already placed.
We rely on performing our contract with you for everything needed to fulfil an order, on our legal obligations for invoicing and tax records, and on our legitimate interest in preventing fraud and abuse.
Who else sees it
Delivery partners receive the name, address and phone number on the order — only what is needed to hand the parcel over.
Service providers that host our systems and send transactional messages process data on our instructions and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
We disclose data to a public authority only where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are retained for 8 years, as tax and accounting rules require. This applies even if you close your account, because the record of a completed sale is not ours to delete.
Everything else attached to your account — saved addresses, your name and email — is deleted within 30 days of a deletion request.
One-time passwords and their records are short-lived and are cleared automatically.
Your choices
You can see and change your name, email and saved addresses from your account at any time, and delete any address you no longer use.
To get a copy of your data, correct something we hold, or close your account, write to privacy@zoveoo.com from the email address on the account, or include your registered phone number. We will confirm the request, act on it within 30 days, and tell you what we had to retain and why.
Transactional messages about an order you have placed are part of fulfilling it and cannot be switched off while the order is open.
Cookies and similar storage
We set a session cookie so that you stay signed in as you move between pages. It is required for the site to work.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Security
Access to customer data is limited to staff who need it, and administrative accounts require a second factor to sign in. Every administrative change to an order, product or setting is recorded in an audit log.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data we will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
Children
Zoveoo is not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has created an account, tell us and we will remove it.
Grievance Officer
Under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, our Grievance Officer is Zoveoo Grievance Officer, reachable at grievance@zoveoo.com. Complaints are acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 15 days.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top of the page shows when it last changed, and we will tell you directly if a change materially affects how we use data we already hold about you.
